Terms & Conditions
Driving Licences - Hirers must have held a full licence for more than twelve months and must produce it at the time of hire. If a photocard licence, the paper conterpart must also be produced.
Accidents/convictions - Certain categories/types of endorsement preclude renting one of our vehicles as does recent accident history - please ask for details.
Min/max drivers age - Minimum age 25, maximum age 65. Certain categories may differ - please ask for details.
Deposit - A deposit will be taken at the commencement of the hire period to cover fuel loss and incidental damage (see over). There will be a minimum charge of £25.00 to cover the cleaning of any vehicle returned in a dirty condition.
Insurance excess - Varies according to vehicle group, please refer to table overleaf. In the event of an accident claim hirers are responsible for the payment of the full excess applicable to the group of vehicle hired (one excess for every incident) in addition to incidental damage as described herein.
CDW - Collision damage waiver - optional for all hirers is the payment of CDW at the commencement of each hire period at the rates shown on the table overleaf. This reduces the hirers liability for insurance excess payable in the event of an accident in the hire vehicle to nil.
Fuel policy - All vehicles are handed over with 1/4 tank of fuel. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure the vehicle is returned with 1/4 tank of fuel. Any shortfall at checkin will be charged at £1.00 per litre plus VAT. Please note, no refund is given for fuel levels over 1/4 on return.
Incidental damage - The hirer remains responsible for damage to tyres, wheels, wheel or interior trims, minor scratches, stonechips to paintwork and windscreen irrespective of paying for CDW (if applicable).
No smoking policy - Please note that we run a no smoking policy in all our vehicles, hirers remain liable for damage and cleaning charges as required at check-in.
